July 11th, 2012 - Letter of Appreciation
Manager was very professional and extremely helpful. I was also quite surprised that the technician put the spare tire back under the auto and the back of the car was neat and clean.
Ron K. - Lincoln, NE

June 29th, 2012 - The manager went to extremes to help me out. I rolled up just as he was closing last Saturday needing two tires, and he dropped everything to replace my tires with lightning speed and get me on my way. I sincerely appreciate his efforts, and would not hesitate to recommend his store to anyone. Great job - well done. I am one very satisfied customer.
David B. - Morris IL

Goodyear Tires

You don't become a leader in an industry with only a casual interest in your business. If you want to be number one in tires, you think, eat and sleep tires, 365 days a year. As a result of this dedication, Goodyear continues to roll out the tires America wants.

Testing Standards
Goodyear works hard to put the best possible tires on the road. Our testing standards exceed those of the government, to ensure that every product we make delivers high quality performance and dependability. See for yourself how Goodyear products live up to the highest of expectations.

In the old days, we used to brag about the millions of test miles we racked up every year, citing "x" number of trips to the moon or around the equator. Today, we use predictive testing and a host of other methodologies to reduce field and lab test time. But that's only part of the story of Global Tire Performance Prediction (GTPP), one of the new disciplines created late last year in our realignment of RD&E. Have We Raised Tire Manufacturing To An Art Form? Maybe.

But there's no denying the amount of influence Goodyear advances have had on the tire industry. Starting with the simple process of manufacturing a tire and refining it exponentially, we have repeatedly found ourselves on the cutting edge of tire technology. Learn more here about the creation of a tire and the heights to which Goodyear has raised the art.

Financing is easy

Tire Rotation
Rotating your tires means moving them from one side of the vehicle to the other, moving them from front to back or a combination of both. Regular tire rotation helps avoid uneven tire wear that can lead to poor performance and gas mileage.

Some tires need rotated at specific intervals, while others will need rotated depending on the wear. To find out when your tires need rotated, check your vehicle's owner's manual or ask one of our technicians.
Wheel Balance
Balancing your tires is important. If overlooked, unbalanced tires can lead to uneven wear, vibration and potentially unsafe driving conditions. Our technicians can help determine whether your tires need to be rotated and balanced based on wear or mileage.

Getting your tires balanced can mean:
• Smoother ride
• Increased Comfort
• Less driver fatigue
• Enhanced tire wear
• Enhanced for tires and drive train components

Wheel alignment is the position of your wheels relative to your vehicle. When properly aligned, your wheels will point in the same direction as the vehicle. To maintain proper control of your car, you must keep your wheels in proper alignment. Otherwise, steering will become difficult, your tires will wear unevenly and your fuel economy will decrease. An alignment check includes:
• Inspection of the steering and suspension components
• Examination of the tires for size, inflation and wear
• Comparison of your alignment to vehicle manufacturer guidelines

Voted #1 Tire Store/Service category in the readers choice poll (NPTelegraph paper) in North Platte
Greetings from the city between two rivers! North Platte sits between the South Platte River and North Platte River. North Platte was an important part of history as the stopping point in westward migration from the California gold rush to the building of the transcontinental railroad. The Oregon Trail followed the South Platte River to the gold rush and the Mormon Trail followed the North Platte River.

In 1866 the building of the Union Pacific Railroad brought the town to life. In September 2008 North Platte was voted by US Congress to be permanently recognized as Rail Town USA. North Platte's Bailey Yard is the largest railroad in the world - each year we host Rail Fest. A free tour of Union Pacific Bailey Yard is given with an opportunity to see how Bailey Yard processes over 150 trains and 10,000 rail cars a day! Just last year the Golden Spike was finished. It holds a museum of railroad artifacts and you can observe the railroad from the 8th floor observation deck.

Many events take place during Rail Fest from children's activities, locomotive displays to the cemetery tours. Live actors portray the dead as you walk around the cemetery from our famous to our most infamous. North Platte was known as "Little Chicago" in the early 1900's so there are plenty of infamous gang stories to be told.

North Platte has a lot to offer the traveler. We have a few vineyards to visit, Cody Go Karts and Bumper Boats for the family, Lake Maloney State recreation center, World War II Veterans memorial and we must not forget our most famous resident Buffalo Bill Cody.

You can visit Buffalo Bill's Ranch in North Platte from March until October. There are four days in December that it is open for Christmas at the Cody's. His elegant Victorian house built in 1886 and huge barn built in 1887 sits on 258 acres of what was originally a 4,000 acre spread that Cody called Scout's Rest Ranch. The barn features the original posters and a movie made from film clips taken at the time the Wild West show was touring throughout the United States and Europe.

NebraskaLand Days is the official celebration of the state of Nebraska and our western heritage, held annually the third week of June. We have four nights of the Buffalo Bill PRCA Rodeo, Governor's Professional Art Show, big name concert entertainment, parades, frontier revue, beer tasting, food and much more. Thousands of people from all over the country come to town for these events.
